Remember last year, when we were introduced to the teenager that made her African-inspired prom dress? Designer, Kyemah McEntyre is still in the spotlight.
Kyemah caught the eye of bloggers, celebrities, and social media users with her prom dress last year. 1) She was 18. 2) She designed her own prom dress… and it looked amazing. 3) She was embracing her African roots, rocking a fro and tribal printed gown. Since then, she’s even designed a dress for Naturi Naughton from the hit series, Power.
Last night, the designer showed off this look on the red carpet for BET Honors:
Kyemah’s dress, which she designed and painted herself, is made entirely out of canvas. Once again, she’s rocking her natural hair and showcasing her amazing talent. Tune in to the BET Honors to see if you can catch a glimpse of the amazing gown.
