Can’t Live Without My… White Button-Up

Spring is here!

It’s time for me to start putting some spring outfits together and a large amount of them will include the classic white button-up. The look of a crisp white button-up is appropriate for so many occasions and it’s lightweight, but has long sleeves; appropriate for the spring weather. The thousands of button-ups I have (I’m exaggerating. I only have about 3.), have come from H&M ($19.99); just because they have a good basics section.

When you have a white button up, it’s not like those other pieces that just sit in your closet most of the season.

Getting dressed for work? Wear a white button-up. Going to the mall? Throw on some distressed denim, a white button-up, and go! Going to brunch? Pair your white button-up with your favorite spring skirt, and a statement necklace. Going to church? A white button-up is appropriate for that, too. Do you just not have anything to wear? Think again. You can change the look of one of your dresses or shirts by layering it with a white button up underneath.
