Top 5 Bloggers and YouTubers

Whatever industry you’re in, you should always have a mentor or someone you look to for inspiration. Now, blogging isn’t a full-time job for me, but I take these weekly posts seriously, so of course I have other bloggers and YouTubers whose pages I’m constantly looking  at. Here’s a list of my top five beauty and fashion/style bloggers and YouTubers. If you’re into the YouTube video thing, you’ve probably heard of some, if not all, of these bloggers. If you haven’t, these are some great pages to start following. Here we go…

5. Styles by Fash

Styles by Fash covers hair, fashion, and beauty, as you can see from the tagline. I’ve actually been watching these videos for a while, but hadn’t subscribed… I don’t know why, but I’m now a subscriber. I tend to pick and choose as I scroll through these videos
though; just because there are quite a few hair tutorials, but her hair is straight and I’m natural most of the time. Even though I don’t watch too many of those, there are some pretty cool tutorials for beauty and some great fashion haul videos… and her Instagram photos are just 😍 … Melanin always poppin’ (lol).

4. MakeupShayla

I had no idea “MakeupShayla” was as popular as she is. This YouTuber is not on my list at all because she’s well known because, when I started following her on Instagram, I had no idea. I recently saw her on snapchat at Kylie Jenner’s private lip kit lunch event and had to do a double take. If you ever want a tutorial to help you or teach you how to beat your face, this is the page to go to.

3. Purely Kaice

I was just having a conversation with someone about YouTube channels to subscribe to. As I started to say “Purely Kaice”, they already knew what and who I was talking about. Purely Kaice is a great natural hair and beauty blog and YouTube channel, full of useful tips and tutorials. Being a college student, she’s super authentic and relatable.

2. Kyrzayda

Kyrzayda is a fashion blogger who gives me soooo much life. She’s a mom and blogger, with a more sophisticated feel to her page. There are a lot of  OOTD (outfit of the day) posts. I love that because her style is so effortless, which makes everything so bomb.

1. LipstickNCurls (Jade Kendel)

Okay, so my number one is LipstickNCurls. I’m listing this as my top choice because this page was my “first love” (lol). LipstickNCurls was the page that started my YouTube – watching addiction. Yes, I’m a natural girl, but I didn’t start taking my natural hair care too seriously until I followed her, Jade Kendel, on Instagram and subscribed to her YouTube channel. Her personality is one of the main things that had me watching videos for hours… You can go to this page for natural hair tips, tutorials, and product reviews, but there are also some great beauty tips and tutorials.

 Ring My Bell (Ashley Madekwe)

Yes, I know I said “Top 5”, but I had to add another fashion blog and I didn’t want to take away one of my YouTubers. I’m always looking for new inspiration. I just started following this blog, so I don’t want to rank it, but so far, so good. I should say “so far, so great.” Ashley is also an actress, which is how I found out about this blog. I followed her from a character on a series I was watching on Netflix.
