Hey y’all! This is going to be a short and sweet one.
This week, spring is here and Beyoncé has us all feeling ourselves. On top of that, I graduate in 3 weeks sooo… basically, you can’t tell me nothing right now, okay (lol).
Bey made history Saturday, being the first black female to headline Coachella. That same feeling we all had watching Bey do her thing, is the feeling we should have every time we accomplish something for ourselves. As graduation season approaches for me, I’m realizing that it’s not bad at all to celebrate yourself. You did it, sis. That car, you got it. The job interview, you nailed it. That diploma, you’re going to it. That valley, you made your way through it. Black girl magic is a real thing and there’s no one that can tell us we’re not as amazing as we think we are.
