NYFW S/S18: RiRi Takes Fashion Week by Storm

I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but Rihanna is killing it! Rihanna debuted the Fenty x Puma Spring/Summer 2018 collection at New York Fashion Week. As the creative director, Rihanna works with design director, Melissa Battifarano, to bring Fenty x Puma to life. The duo has done it again with the collection for this season!

This season’s Fenty x Puma collection was motocross inspired and has both women’s and men’s looks. The collection features men’s motocross looks that have been transformed into feminine streetwear — These looks were my favorite. The looks managed to keep oversized silhouettes while still accentuating the curves of the female body and adding a dose of sex appeal to the collection.  From the moto style jackets to biker pants and high cut swim suits, the collection was power packed with amazing looks.

Not only were the looks great, but the show was captivating and energetic. The show opened with motorcyclist on motorbikes zooming in the air, over the pink hills that were set up in the middle of the Fenty x Puma runway. The models were diverse and the looked great in the pieces.

The show closed, of course, with Rihanna coming out, giving us life on a motorbike. Rihanna is out here being the definition of a #girlboss. She launched her Fenty beauty line just days before the Fenty x Puma show so of course all of her models were wearing it down the runway. Show us how to do it Ri!
